This is the 30th Anniversary GI Joe Action Pilot from 1994. This is the bigger, chunkier doll body used throughout the 1990s. Although he has better and more accessories than the 40th Anniversary doll, I like the non-chunky 40th Anniversary doll body better because it's most like the original.
Here's a talking Action Pilot GI who didn't make the Wednesday photo shoot of my other Airmen because he hadn't arrived yet! He works in the IT department of the base, keeping an eagle eye on their computer systems. He's happy to be onboard!
I'm feeling very under the weather today, so I have to postpone doing my Army meet-up photos for a bit. Instead, I decided to line up my Action Pilot dolls in their various colored jumpsuits with accessories. These figures also include the Mercury Astronaut dolls which I've already photographed & posted. I do include here the Space Shuttle astronaut figure in memory of John Glenn's shuttle trip on Discovery 7 in the late 1990s. And the WW2 Action Pilot. Swipe left to see them all.
