At the end of the day non of it really matters if your not truly happy with your life. I'm ok with working hard day in and day out. It doesn't matter if it's 7 days a week, but I want to do it because I love it, I want to do it because it's my choice. Life doesn't have to feel like an obligation, we can actually enjoy it. If we want to do big things with our lives then we are going to need a mind set to match the ambition. How hard are ready to work for what you want in life?

Sometimes social media makes us feel like we can't show any flaws and that you always have to post your best angles. Social media has a huge impact on people's mental health. We constantly see these pictures of "perfection", and how we "should" look like or act like. Then we start wishing we would look certain way, or have someone else's life, etc. If we don't start working on loving ourselves and loving who we are, we will never be happy. What matters is what is on the inside, not what's on the outside. Just think about it.. when you get old, are you still going to rely on your physique in order to be happy? Probably not. Keep working on yourself, because at the end of the day, that's what is important and that's what matters. Work on yourself until you are someone you love to spend time with. 💕

Why run?

I’m working to be a competitive weightlifter, so why run? Because I want to be able to do one more rep. On tired legs, at the end of a training session, I want to complete one more rep. I want to be able to be fatigued, and tired, and exhausted, and make one more rep. Repeated over and over that one rep adds up to be a huge deal. I want one more rep

Why run? Why not bike, or row, or swim? Because there is something powerful about moving your own body. No machine or water to support you, just you, gravity, and the ground. Running can be hard, and being out of breath sucks, but the benefits are worth the effort

But of all the ways to be outside and active, why run? Because when I was 8, a doctor I had never met before, looked at me and said that because of a condition I had played no part in acquiring, I wouldn’t be allowed to run, or jump, or play, for two years. He said I’d never walk “right,”again, and that before the age of 30 I’d probably need a hip replacement. Now, I got to know this doctor very well, and he’s a wonderful and kind man, but he had no idea how bright of a fire he lit in me that day

So why run? Because I’m not going to leave any stone unturned. Because I want this body as resilient as it can possibly be. Because I know how much of a gift the ability to run is, and how quickly it can be stripped away. I run because it will always represent freedom to move and play and explore and grow. That is why I run

Yay for new shoes day! Had two great races yesterday! Ran 4:58.92 in the 1500 placing 5th and then an hour later ran the 800 in 2:27.04 placing 7th. 2018 season bests in both races. Today I took advantage of a break between clients and played around a little bit with my shoulders.

I give cues all day long to our clients and it’s important for me to get on the machines and see what works and what doesn’t. Even though we use SuperSlow movements for our protocol, certain cues remain the same even in conventional gyms.

For real delt and lateral raise (the first two moves) I was looking slightly down in order to try to keep a neutral head and neck. I tried to focus on keeping my shoulders down throughout the movements as well.
.
For overhead press I was trying to keep my elbows forward and not allowing them to flare out to the sides and I felt it way more in the front part of my shoulder that way. Funny how small adjustments can change the exercises and how noticeable it is when you take the time to pay attention to the little things. .
One of the best parts about working out at work is the fact that I don’t sweat so I can get it done in my regular clothes and get right back to training my clients. Score!! .

Kevin fait 3 ème en men’s muscular
Franck 4 ème en master + 80 kilos
Très fier d’eux pourquoi ? Ce ne sont pas leurs catégories respectives ....
Franck est passé depuis notre collaboration de men’s classic à body en master -80 kg pour France IFBB ( vice champion ) pour être à ce gp en master + 80 avec la même sèche contre des athlètes de plus de 20 kg de plus que lui ( photos à l’appui )
Kevin lui est passé de men’s physique junior a ifbb France ( 5 eme car trop musculaire) , à men’s physique en senior à Colmar ( 2 eme) , à men’s muscular senior pour faire 3 ème le tout à seulement 20 ans !
L’évolution est plus que flagrante et pourquoi ? Ils écoutent à la lette ! Au gramme près , à la virgule près , à la seconde près !
Rien n’est laissé au hasard quand on veut progresser !
Maintenant on se concentre sur Europe avec retour de Franck en master -80 déchiré comme jamais et @salim_mat en -90 kg également après avoir été en + 90 a Colmar !
Dans la team on ne cherche pas la facilité pour se dire on a finit premier non ! Mais en se battant contre ce qu’il y a de meilleur c’est ainsi qu’on y trouve la rage d’évoluer et de vaincre !
Fier de cette bande de fou de cette famille au taquet pour la victoire !
Repos pour Kevin de courte durée ! Les Npc nous attendent !

Happy Saturday everyone! I haven't been as active on here due to celebrating my birthday yesterday 🎉 and some other that's been stuff going on but alas I've still been killing my workouts and macros! In fact, I just finished week 1 of the #khspringchallenge ! But no worries I'm hoping to get back into the swing of posting more regularly soon.
