New PR on Weighted dips, (2x) 45lbs plate. It felt great to challenge myself once again!
When the weight of your struggles get heavier it can be discouraging and intimidating, it makes you feel like is dragging you down and there is nothing you can do to pull yourself back up. Never give up and train your mind to fight that fear and pull/push yourself back to the surface. You’re a lot stronger than all that is weighting you down. Believe in yourself !!
🔥 WEIGHTED DIPS🔥
Third session back on weighted dips after having not done them in 15+ months. Hit 3 work sets of 6 @40kgs, followed by 2 work sets of 15 with just bodyweight. A long way off my best of 70kgs x 6 @85kg bodyweight. Current bodyweight is 78.5kgs.
TIP... If you find the chain off your dip belt has a tendency to rip or tear up your clothing, place a rolled up hand towel across the chained area... between the chain and hooks, and your clothing 💪
