“The most dangerous risk of all is the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later.” Randy Komisar
🇬🇧 I admire the ease and confidence with which Amsterdammers cycle around the city. It must be coded in their DNAs or something. Or it has something to do with urban planning and that everyone follows the unwritten rules when cycling in Amsterdam. I guess I was one of those annoying wannabe cyclists as I stopped every now and then to check my GPS. On my way back to the hotel I ended up in a traffic jam for bicycles. Oh, the morning rush. Standing there with some other fellow cyclists waiting for a green light, I’m glad I didn’t leave Amsterdam without experiencing it! 🚲 🌷
🇸🇰 Obdivujem tú ľahkosť a sebavedomie s ktorým cyklisti v Amsterdame krúžia mestom. Majú to snáď zakódované v ich DNA. 🚲 💐

How many goats can you spot in this pic? This setting really reminded me of the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff 🐐👹 luckily there wasn’t a troll under this bridge so I crossed safely and pet the super cute pygmy goats on the other side 💕

Seek and you shall find 🧐😍
.....
This one time in India, I was organising a last minute hike up the Himalayas near Rishikesh and my friend needed shoes, so we asked the booking guy where to find shoes and he told us to go to the market by the river. I proclaimed that I’d been at the market that morning and hadn’t seen any shoes there. He looked at me and gently said “yes but you weren’t looking for them, were you?”.
.....
I just love these “aha!” moments when your mind is challenged in a positive way and you realise that there is more than what you first thought. Everything we experience in life is dependent on our own perspective. Bit of a deep meaning from the search for shoes but I’m that kinda soul haha!
....
What have you noticed was right in front of you all along?

» Oxford sure was beautiful, and strolling through the different colleges totally made me want to go back to school (or uni). But I'm thinking that I might need to iron my blouse first 🎓😉
Very few things in life have brought me to tears from its pure beauty, made me gasp in awe, and given me goosebumps with an electric current that ran through my entire body. The Taj Mahal is one of them.
I was the third person in line at 5 AM to watch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, and because of that, I basically had the place to myself for 20 or so minutes before the crowds came in.
The Taj Mahal’s energy is divine, her femininity powerful. I could feel her breathing as I walked with my hand against her marble. She is so beautiful, and a reminder to us all of the power of pure love and femininity that exists on this earth. I spent 2 hours sitting and admiring her, forgetting about the world around me.
The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum, built for the wife of a man who loved her unconditionally. It’s simple yet it speaks thousands of emotions in one.
This monument is a physical manifestation of the love, the beauty that is so prominent in India. It’s the love that courses through the veins of its people, animals, food, mountains, deserts, cities, and beaches. It’s the love that comes with the warm handshake and head bobble of a local. And it’s the love that comes with the majestic beauty that floats around the air of the entire country.
I have never felt or seen something so powerful in my life. India, I continue to fall more and more in love with you every single day.
