A lot of my happiness is based on how I physically look, whether I am at my ideal weight or how far my belly sticks out. I have always been that way. Well most likely I wasn’t at some point & just learned it. There was a point in my early twenties where I gained a lot of weight. I was over 200 pounds & was with someone who wanted me that way. Even though I didn’t want it that way & I felt so uncomfortable in my own body. But was that misery because of my already skewed perception of self worth or was it because of the unhealthy relationship I was intertwined in? I don’t feel comfortable in my clothes unless the shape of my body is a specific way. Now, there is the real & tangible notion of me binging on junk food & feeling terrible because of that. Beyond what I look like or how much I weigh- junk food makes me feel like shit. But honestly, I don’t weigh myself often. I usually do it when I know I have gained weight & want that “reality check” to push myself to stop eating so much. But I have to wonder. How would I feel if I didn’t have those specific expectations of myself? If I just loved my body no matter what? I think the majority of people who hate others who are fat & confident, really just hate that they lack that same self love. That they are so unsatisfied with themselves & feel jealous when they see someone who is satisfied. Because I can look at a body that is far bigger than mine & just see the intense beauty of it. To see that body as perfect the way it is yet I can’t always seem to see that in myself. Don’t get me wrong, I fucking adore myself. No one is more in love with me than me. But I’m also super critical. And want to be more accepting of my ever altering body. And I have changed a lot, in many ways yet I still have my little negative habits too. I want to look at myself as I see others- as utter perfection. And when it comes down to it, we are not our bodies. Our bodies are not us. We inherited this little meat suit & we wear it for awhile until it gradually gets old & needs to stop living. In the end, our bodies do not matter. And severing that connection to our body is inevitable, so might as well start now.

#Yogurt de #soya casero con frambuesa 🍃 Si encuentran que el sabor de la soya es un poco fuerte pueden probar agregando la fruta que más les guste 💚
Para preparar 1 litro de yogurt de soya se necesita: 1 sobre de Yogustart o 4 a 5 cápsulas de probióticos de 5 billones; dependiendo de la consistencia que queramos.
Dejamos el litro de leche vegetal a t° ambiente o en una olla hasta entibiar si hace mucho frío, sin superar los 30°c o hasta que al introducir un dedo no nos quememos. Mezclan en un bowl con los probióticos hasta disolver y llevan a la yogurtera por 12 horas. Pasado este tiempo lo refrigeran por 5 horas antes de consumir. Dura hasta 6 días.

Today I am grateful for getting in a solid climbing/ weight session this morning and I’m grateful for catching up with friends and having 4 hour long lunches filled with amazing food and great conversation. @lizzysoto and I went to @gmweho for a late lunch and spent the entire afternoon catching up and eating, it was exactly what I needed.
I am so excited to eat this colorful, healthy, plant based meal tomorrow for lunch!
Lately I have been feeling really sluggish and bloated. Ive been constipated (sorry if TMI but not really 🤷🏻♀️ lol) Ive also been breaking out more, and as a normally pretty healthy vegan I'm not used to feeling any of these things... I feel weighed down and it has been making me sad.
I believe that if you are unhealthy physically, you will start to feel unhealthy emotionally.
Ive been eating a lot of sugary, processed foods and barley any fruit or veggies lately. My body is telling me to stop putting all this junk in my system! It is giving me signs to change and I want to listen to it!
I will never understand how some people make themselves sick (depression, tiredness, headaches, diarrhea/ constipation, bloating etc.) by eating extremely unhealthy and taking medicine that never helps because it's prescribed by greedy doctors, and it just makes them feel worse, and they never think twice about it. Be conscious!! Be self aware!! Listen to what your body is trying to tell you! It is SO important!!!
WE ARE HUMAN and like all animals, we need to listen to our body's to be able to feel well
Try to really listen to your body and hear what it is telling you. You will feel so much better if you have a talk with yourself (emotional self and physical self) to figure out what you need to be healthy & happy.
If you are interested in how i cooked my veggies, I steamed the Brussel sprouts and added some sea salt and garlic powder. I baked the sweet potato and added some cinnamon. I cut the avocado and added some sea salt and pepper. .
