When I became #vegan , I became a true foodie. Flavors started popping and my heart got involved, as I felt so badass making food where no one had to suffer horrific cruelty and death for me to be nourished. ⠀
Here's the deal, whenever I speak to meat eaters about their meals or recipes, they often tell me about whatever slab of dead animal they are going to cook. But what they spend the majority of time on discussing, analyzing and salivating over is, what is going to FLAVOR their meat. They talk about what they will marinate it in, which spices, what herbs and how long they will marinate it and tenderize it. They speak of homemade bbq sauces and hot sauces and smokey sauces; all of which come from a plant sources!! You see, vegan food flavors meat food. So if you think you will be lacking flavor going vegan, think again.⠀

I have Invested in a second pair of feet for the summer - a complement to the times when I will not be going barefoot (when Iam at the store buying groceries etc). I strongly advice you to do the same - to Invest in a pair of shoes that will work with your feet instead of against them! 👣
You don't build a pyramid on quicksand, do you?
The more advanced the shoe = the less your feet will have to do the work = weak, stiff feet that is prone to injury (& also tend to mess with other parts of your body as well). I don't like to buy lots of stuff but when I do decide to buy something I think about the invironment, use of materials etc.
I like @vivobarefoot beacuse they make minimalist, feet-shaped shoes (yes, feet should not be shoe-shaped, shoes should be feet-shaped) that look & feel great. Also they do some vegan ones wich is awesome ❤🐂. My advice? Go barefoot A LOT & also get yourself a pair of "vivos". Find your progression. You can use them for shorter periods of time instead of your "regular" shoes in the beginning & then for a bit longer periods until finally, you can wear them all of the time as your feet will have gained their swagger back.
This might be one of the best things you can do for your body & your health.
Every step is a chance to grow weaker or stronger. You decide which one it is.
