Memorial 🐾 portrait 🐾 of a sweet little guy that will forever be loved & fondly remembered. We have one more session to lay more contrast and texture into the frame. I’m excited to have been trusted with such an important project, and at the thought of building this sleeve to become something fantastic over time 👨🏼🎨🧙♂️🕺🏻#cat#cattattoo#colortattoo#memorialtattoo#tattoos#uniting_artists
There's someone in my head but it's not me.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon. "I can't think of anything to say except... I think it's marvelous! HaHaHa!" Brain Damage - Pink Floyd
I had one of my busiest days yesterday. It started with a random and crazy Pink Floyd conversation with an 80s rock nerd who happens to own the printing shop I had my watercolor prints and bookmarks produced. He started singing Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 when he saw my Pink Floyd sweater the moment I came in. I bet he tried testing me to see if I knew what I’m wearing. Most probably, he thought I’m just a random kid who thinks the decal on my clothing is cool AF but doesn’t really give a shit on what it is about.
That was one of the longest conversations, if not one of the bests, I had with a random stranger this year given that I am highly introverted and has a deep aversion to socializing and small talk. He brought me back to the era of Fleetwood Mac, transistor radios, vinyls, and Walkmans. We both lamented on his lost and damaged cassette tapes.
In the evening, I sat next to a lovely couple in the bazaar wher I sold The Sesotunawa Project’s brass products along with my artworks. They were selling pastries.
I also had conversations with a lot of people. Inhad to explain the stories about the brass products and my artworks. I felt totally robbed of my energy after two hours; but, I’m not saying it was a bad experience. I got to tell stories which I rarely get the chance to do so. I feel light and joyous taking tales off my chest.
After about two hours, I sold 4 brass products, 6 postcards, and 24 out of 30 bookmarks. I have never been so proud of myself in years. I’d like to do it again but I may not have enough time, energy and courage to sit and tell stories tonight. But, hey, here’s a good way to channel my mania if I get one tonight.
