Some #thursdaythoughts for you......
Mike and I were just talking about this a few days ago. I am so lucky and grateful to be able to do what I do. It's not only my job right now it is truly my passion. I love everything health and fitness and LOVE to help others find what works for them so they can live their best life!
If your job isn't something you are overly passionate about, try and find a side gig, hobby, volunteer, or just spend some time doing something you love each day! It will change your life and your perspective.
Have a fabulous day!
Today I'm going to be working with some real feels, I'm going live at 3 EST to chat about my struggle with painting, my acceptance of where I'm at, some #thursdaythoughts and answering any questions ya'll have. Which is, you know. Scary? So.
Know what I'm low-key meditating on this morning? Aventurine. That's this lil friend! He's all about optimism in life, good luck, and embracing change with a light heart.
Sometimes we need an overly cheerful friend to stay by our side during the scary stuff. I hope to see you there, my friend. I would love to share my heart with you.
Don't miss out on this information opportunity! Worried about entrance #exams ? #NichollsLibrary can help you prepare! We've got test prep books, e-books, and databases to get you ready. Search "Learning Express" in our databases or stop by the Access Services desk on 2nd floor.
Yesterday in my stories, I talked about the book I’m currently reading, The Compound Effect.
The whole concept behind the book is this quote. Being successful isn’t about making one big, grand gesture. It’s about making millions of tiny gestures that don’t seem to matter, day after day.
Have you ever stopped to think about your habits, and how they effect your life? It’s amazing to me to think that simply one small change, over time, can change the course of your life.
Have you read the book? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts! If not, I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take charge of their own life!
Let's learn together, shall we?
I'm no expert, but this whole wine world is truly fascinating to me.
So I took a quick dive into the difference between cheap wine & expensive wine.

I write in a gratitude journal everyday, this was yesterday’s #qotd from @schwarzenegger. (Sometimes I do this with buddy. 🐱) It’s a powerful quote- we can either stay comfortable and in the same place or be painfully honest with ourselves, call out our BS, and work through it. Sometimes excuses are hidden in my “truths,” which I’ve come to realize are not really truths at all. They’re things I’ve been telling myself to stay in my comfort zone. So now it’s time to do work.⚡️Hope you have a good day today. ❤️
I had no idea how intense it can be, not even before 3 years ago when my kids were 6 and a newborn. I felt like i did take time for myself back then. In the past 3 yrs, something changed and I literally stopped doing anything for myself.
My purpose became simply to help my husband through Army PA school and make sure the kids stay content and entertained even when daddy is there but not really “there.” I stayed focused and did my absolute best to make sure everyone was happy. I introverted more than normal. I did things that were easy since it took so much energy to make sure they were taken care of.
Well, I’m here to tell ya that this got me absolutely nowhere and what I thought was making me a better mother and wife by taking care of them was actually hurting me. I even thought my break from this account was helping me focus more on them but it did nothing to help me.
I made the decision a few weeks ago to come back, put myself back out there, and ultimately start doing things for me again. Even if it’s just once a week going to my belly dance class, at least it is a solid 3 hrs of just me time that includes time with my little sister after.
No more feeling guilty for leaving them. No more ignoring my needs. No more putting so much energy into things that do not make me happy.
Thank you to all of you for encouraging me, relating, and inspiring me!! You mean more to me than you will ever know 💜
