Cardio exercise and resistance training provide different yet equally-important benefits for your health and i personally have always focused on both , but I’ve noticed that many exercisers tend to love one type of fitness and absolutely hate the other. Cardio people  typically hate lifting weights and weight lifters typically  can’t stand cardio .

Whats really helped me  improve my physical and  mental health has always been to combine both cardio and weights which  subsequently improved the quality of my life by increasing my energy levels out of sight.

Consistency is the key to realizing the health and weight-management benefits of exercise. Physical activity is the most variable component of energy expenditure. Increase in energy expenditure through exercise and other forms of physical activity are important components of interventions for weight loss and its maintenance. Other positive effects of increased activity include strengthening cardiovascular integrity, increasing sensitivity to insulin, and expending additional energy and therefore calories. Adequate levels of physical activity appear to be 45 to 90 minutes daily. Overweight and obese individuals should gradually increase to these levels of physical activity. Even if an overweight or obese adult is unable to achieve this level of activity, significant health benefits can be realized by participating in atleast 30minutes of daily activity of moderate intensity.

The cars we drive, machines at work, sitting in classes, sitting in offices... we're always SEDENTARY. Our bodies are made to do something. It's not all our fault- our world Is becoming automated. Food really is medicine! I eat more in at home now then out. Experimenting & Creating food items that my body needs on all levels (mentally, physically, spiritually.) I have really noticed a change in my thought process. Feeding my body healthy foods has really helped me appreciate the medicine food is and my health. I took that for granted too long. After a long day, I prepared garlic roasted Organic Quinoa, steamed Crimini Mushrooms & Broccoli, baked Cumin-seasoned Sweet Potato, & satueed Tempeh seasoned with Himilayan Pink Sea Salt & cracked Blacked Pepper with a touch of Tumeric. Added a dash of Coconut Aminos. One of our favorite easy meals! Sausage Kale Pasta!

• 1lb hot Italian sausage
• All the chopped kale! (I used about 5 loose cups today)
• 1-2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 box whole wheat rotini
~ Cook sausage, drain and put onto paper towels to help soak up some of the oil. Briefly sauté kale in the empty sausage pan (~1 minute). Add everything into a sprayed baking dish, cover with foil, and bake @350 for 15 minutes. Serve!

So I'll admit it: I did NOT want to go to they gym today. My first day of the week in is always the hardest, and I only do cardio on my first workout of the week to get me back in the swing of things. Did I do a half-assed cardio workout? Absolutely. Do I feel bad about that? Eh, a little bit. But the point is that I made it in, and I got moving. Every little bit goes a long way, and even though it wasn't my best workout, I'm glad I went, and I'm more pumped to go tomorrow than I would've been if I skipped another day. 🙌

Unemployment, divorce or any other life crisis where you feel rejected can be devastating to the manifesting space. If you let it, these kinds of experiences can leave you feeling victimized, wounded and unworthy to have the world work in your favor.
There are periods when we can also get convinced people only like us for what we can give them, not because they authentically like us. We get angry because we feel used and alone in our most vulnerable times of need. But this doesn't have to be a blow to the manifester inside and in fact can actually strengthen your abilities to create an authentic life.
Sometimes we establish relationships with people based on something we give them and when we test the relationship by taking that thing away, we are shocked to find the relationship falls apart. For example, new jobs. You go into the interview, probably promising your devotion, hard work and endless talent. You get the job and then kill yourself for months working hard to prove yourself. Then the steam starts to run out and you realize what you did was over-promise and the level of work you could sustain long term does not match up with the expectations you have set.
You overextended your energy to prove yourself instead of standing in your authentic value and making that work for you. Then your work quantity goes down, and your employer is feeling annoyed. You feel like "what the heck, I have been killing myself for this person."
Yeah...and that is what they began to expect! You could apply this to your friendships, your relationships, anything. Did you promise something you couldn't sustain? Why didn't you just promise what you could authentically do in the first place and accept that that is enough? Another scenario is that sometimes we are meant to be alone to work through some things.
Embrace every moment as a teaching, healing moment. Where do you feel rejected? What is coming up in this rejection? Do you feel alone? Abused? Used? Under valued? Why is this a bad feeling for you? Is this true? Allow every moment, no matter how hard, to be a moment of reflection for yourself. Rather than resist it and try to get out of it, embrace it. Let it teach you.
