Cardio exercise and resistance training provide different yet equally-important benefits for your health and i personally have always focused on both , but I’ve noticed that many exercisers tend to love one type of fitness and absolutely hate the other. Cardio people typically hate lifting weights and weight lifters typically can’t stand cardio .
Whats really helped me improve my physical and mental health has always been to combine both cardio and weights which subsequently improved the quality of my life by increasing my energy levels out of sight.
Here is why i do cardio ⬇
Your cardiovascular system is your lungs , your heart, blood, and the huge network of blood vessels that supplies fuel, oxygen, and nutrients to every tissue in your body. Getting this system strong and efficient will give you more energy on a daily basis and make any activity you do feel easier. It also protects you from the very real dangers of cardiovascular disease .

I really like this but I won't lie, I struggle putting myself and my health first. Husband, kids, work ect.... I really need to start focusing on my physical health as well as my mental health.
For toooooo long I hated my body, I was my own worst critic, I would pick myself apart in the mirror could never take a compliment and would always compare..... always! I would always wish I was tall like her, pretty like her, thin like her.... popular like her.... smart like her.... I wasn't like anyone.... I was like ME! The best decision I have ever made was to learn to love myself! It hasn't been easy but oh so worth it! So worth it in fact I am on a mission to help 100 women this year to fall in love with themselves! Do you Love The Skin You Are In?

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IS NOT OPTIONAL
I think the way our world is going, everything would be automated for us (as long as someone is getting rich from it). The cars we drive, machines at work, sitting in classes, sitting in offices... we're always SEDENTARY. Our bodies are made to do something. It's not all our fault- our world Is becoming automated. If you want you can order any type of food online delivered to your door.... like who Wouldn't??
In my opinion, you have two options. Active Living or Structered exercise. Either way physical activity is essential. You can pay the price of physical activity now, or sickness and disease later in life. That's a fact!
Don't mind my awkwardness/sickness😁😁
my whole life I’ve struggled with mental illness. I’ve never been happy with my body, and every time I tried to change something, it never worked. now that I have a grasp on my mental illness and am feeling better, I can finally work on my physical health, and I couldn’t be more excited!
Mmm words to ponder pon'
Since its #transformationtuesday
Ima set this right here...hey I didn't say but I couldn't have said it any better....soooo if want some tasty recipes, yoga videos and some group accoutability DM for some info in my next online group class.

DAY 8: “If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well. If it is worth having, it is worth waiting for. If it is worth attaining, it is worth fighting for. If it is worth experiencing, it is worth putting aside time for.” 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
>>> I know I’m worth it! I’m working on that self love in every aspect of my life, but I’m working it in with patience. The virtue I’m WORST at. We all have room to grow! This IG will be the manifestation of mine! Come grow with me! 🌱
>> I let myself go 2nd & 3rd year, but this is me getting my body back; slowly but surely! 🏋🏻♀️
Unemployment, divorce or any other life crisis where you feel rejected can be devastating to the manifesting space. If you let it, these kinds of experiences can leave you feeling victimized, wounded and unworthy to have the world work in your favor.
There are periods when we can also get convinced people only like us for what we can give them, not because they authentically like us. We get angry because we feel used and alone in our most vulnerable times of need. But this doesn't have to be a blow to the manifester inside and in fact can actually strengthen your abilities to create an authentic life.
Sometimes we establish relationships with people based on something we give them and when we test the relationship by taking that thing away, we are shocked to find the relationship falls apart. For example, new jobs. You go into the interview, probably promising your devotion, hard work and endless talent. You get the job and then kill yourself for months working hard to prove yourself. Then the steam starts to run out and you realize what you did was over-promise and the level of work you could sustain long term does not match up with the expectations you have set.
You overextended your energy to prove yourself instead of standing in your authentic value and making that work for you. Then your work quantity goes down, and your employer is feeling annoyed. You feel like "what the heck, I have been killing myself for this person."
Yeah...and that is what they began to expect! You could apply this to your friendships, your relationships, anything. Did you promise something you couldn't sustain? Why didn't you just promise what you could authentically do in the first place and accept that that is enough? Another scenario is that sometimes we are meant to be alone to work through some things.
Embrace every moment as a teaching, healing moment. Where do you feel rejected? What is coming up in this rejection? Do you feel alone? Abused? Used? Under valued? Why is this a bad feeling for you? Is this true? Allow every moment, no matter how hard, to be a moment of reflection for yourself. Rather than resist it and try to get out of it, embrace it. Let it teach you.
Jade-rolling is said to boost blood circulation in the face and can help serums and oils penetrate deeper into the skin if done before application. I like jade-rolling because I get tons of inflammation in my body due to stress, which can sometimes cause the development of swollen lymph nodes under my jawline (when I get stressed I experience inflammation on my face in the form of acne or swollen lymph.) Jaderolling is a relaxing ritual for me to do morning and night after cleansing and is said to promote lymph drainage. Jade-rolling can also be a form of exercise for the face if you’re not into doing “face yoga.” What do you guys think? Jade-roller by @mountlai
