Do you have questions about GMO foods? As a Health Coach I get a lot of questions from people about organic foods and GMOs and it’s a very complicated matter for sure! While I never let perfect be the enemy of the good when it comes to eating more whole foods—especially more vegetables—however there are some items that you can know about to make the healthiest choices when it comes to food quality. Whether or not you believe in GMO labeling it not, I think this free report compliments of the Food Revolution Network is a useful resource and interesting read. You can grab it for free at the link in my profile and you can tune in with me to the annual Food Revolution Summit to hear from more expert speakers on this topic. .

If you’re are worried about soil health, watch this film to see how you can help make a change.
The showings are Free.
Did you know there is only approximately 100 years left of fertile soil in UK and only an average of 60 years left in the rest of world suitable for agriculture!
This is serious - it is imperative for survival!!! We are putting on a showing of the film locally (South Warwickshire) shortly.
If anyone is interested in organising a showing locally to you, get in touch with the film makers - you can download the film or request a fee DVD, it’s not in you tube because the makers wish communities to get together to discuss the film after the showing and also it would be good for it to be shown in the same way blue planet showed plastic pollution.
Coconuts, soursop, jackfruit, mangoes, a variety of bananas, cacao, pineapples...these are some of my favorite tropical fruits that I missed eating for 20 years that I was out of my country. These are the very fruits that I craved during my first few months of pregnancy which led us to Hawai'i, where I gave birth to my child.

#summer ~ #mangoes That's summer for me ❤️
Mango is called "aam" in Hindi.
The Common Man is referred to as "aam aadmi" in Hindi.
It's an irony that the Mango that's so literally common in everyone, is in fact not that commonly available to the common man.
Food that's ideally supposed to have been grown in harmony with Nature is now only available as a luxury. "organic" is a nice fancy word, ain't it!!
Isn't that how we're supposed to cultivate our food?
In our overzealous sprint to reach the stars and break new frontiers, all we're doing is making a mess of what we're endowed with.
This is #earth and this is our #home .
We have 2018 honey bees for sale with over wintered Buckfast & Carniolan heading up rapidly building honey bee colonies. We also sell honey bees from this season. We prefer to use over wintered honey bees as they have shown a hardiness to survive the British winter.⠀

I am a big fan of sharing what you love and care about, so when it comes to our food choices, their impact on our health and those around us, it’s important to be informed about what we are saying yes to when we choose non-organic, conventional, ‘spray free’ or ‘clean 15’ produce and demonstrating the reasons why I choose organic over these farming methods. I have found it helpful to observe and question these practices and follow the process from seed to plate in order to make better, healthier choices for myself and offer these solutions to others.
Switching to organic and eliminating the chemicals from my body and home has greatly improved my health and my life. I have spent eleven years learning and sharing the information that has led myself, my family and friends, so many others in our community and even mainstream scientific studies to realise that eating organic fresh food is the way forward for our health and a sustainable future.
We do not exist separately from the environment in which we live. Healthy soil and plants equal healthy humans and animals. If the food we consume is polluted, we become polluted. I care so much about our health, the environment and the animals who we share this planet with, that it is so important for me to share the impact that eating non organic food has on all of these elements.
It makes no sense to me to consume food that has been treated (in an unregulated manner) with pesticides, herbicides and fungicides that are known to cause nervous system disruption, cause cancer, genetic damage and designed to kill life.
When conventional farmers treat the soil and the produce with chemicals it cannot simply be washed off with water or special soaps. It becomes part of the soil and the plant. It stays in our food.
Farmers have to wear protective suits, masks and gloves to handle these substances and the fact that we are consuming these chemicals every time we sit down to a conventional meal concerns me. How is it not safe to touch these chemicals and farmers need to post warning and danger signs when treating their land and crops, yet pow💥 magic, they’re ok to ingest (continued in comments)
BBQ time! These sunny days have been a great excuse to get out the BBQ and put together a feast. All enjoyed with cocktails on the sun deck of course 😎Thanks browncoworganics for the delicious burgers and restackpilates and jamesorpin for your amazing culinary skills 👏👏
SPAGHETTI SQUASH 🌿🍝🤤 These babies are so great to cook with & so versatile! The easiest way to have them ready to use as spaghetti, in bakes, in whichever way your imagination shows you, is by boiling them whole for 20-30 minutes, depending on their size! You can also roast them in the oven (cut in 1/2 face down), though it takes almost double the time! Once they are ready, you cut them in half, scoop out the seeds and then scoop out the spaghetti strands, and go for it! The most mouth watering way we have used them is by making a cheeeeeeezy tomato broccoli & squash bake! Have fun with your creations!!! 😊🌞✨🌿💚
