Another shot from the Keith Birth. This moment was completely unposed, as are all of the birth images I capture. Because Mama needs to concentrate on her body & her baby & Daddy (or other support person) needs to concentrate on Mama.

It’s hard to believe that two years ago we went and picked up a tiny puppy and named him Puck. He’s a constant source of amusement for @megraphics_design and me. A source of annoyance and cuddles for Scout.

“I’m a vendor at the Painted Sofa in the West Bottoms Kansas City. I am a furniture painter. I started out by painting for myself. The next thing I knew I opened a shop in Mission Ks and stayed there for about 3 years. Meanwhile, I was also a vendor in the West Bottoms. I gave up the shop as it was too hard to manage on my own. So now I am just happy being one of the vendors here”.
We love #empowering#women across the world and in our city! On May 30, we're planning a special event called #WomenforWomen for @amethystplace (recovery housing for women and their children) in Kansas City with our friends @thebygracefoundation and @tarashupephoto. Anyone else interested in collaborating? Message us for more info on how to donate goods/services!
We love partnerships, so don’t be shy! 💜💜💜
I saw a crocheted stole today and knew I had the perfect yarn. I did! It was in deep stash. It is Three Irish girls cotton bamboo, from 2011. So deep stash. I also came across some woolgirl Oz club/ kit yarns in A lovely red and grey and white - which could be a cute shawl together. -
Those are from 2011. Then I came across my next pair of socks - another woolgirl kit/club yarn Alice in Wonderland - Cheshire - June 2010 😱 the deep purple is from dec 2012 @threeirishgirlsyarn cotton bamboo from 2012 club. I’m hoping to use all of these this summer.
What. A. Blast!!! Enjoyed a sneak peek of @wholefoodskc, which opens Wednesday!! Highlights include touring a *gorgeous* and impeccably merchandised store, scoring a bottle of all-natural (and DIY) bug spray, eating my first (!!) crab leg, finding a new favorite vino verdhe and seeing so many of my favorite #KC people!! Huge thanks to @cherylbirkeypt for going with me and @tkg.agency for the invite. I’ll see you there Wednesday to shop ‘till we drop!!
“The grass is always greener on the other side.” We use this quote all the time as a conclusion to a problem. But if you think about it, this conclusion is the problem.
If we were all content in who we were and took the time to really understand the people around us and hear their stories then we would all be on the same side. Instead of keeping our distance thinking “they have more than me” , “they’re better looking than me”, “they’re more talented than me” we could come together and create a “side” that is lush and verdant incorporating every part that’s needed to be fully functional.
Embrace what you have to contribute by being yourself and accepting who and what everyone else has to contribute as part of the entire make up.
Take your pops on a trip around the world through whiskey!
