The knees bending inwards (knee valgus) during a catch & shoot or jump stop on the court can be a sign of weak hips! Why is this important? Weak hips allow there to be increased stress/load on the knees during deceleration or change in direction movements. This can lead to knee injuries such as ACL or meniscal tears.
