#Eat318 This concludes the third 318 Restaurant Week. The "All This Soul" dining experience at Wine Country Bistro took Southern tradition and twisted it with a modern flair. Delicious! The standouts for me was this pork chop from @mahaffeyfarms, the herb biscuits and brisket. Oh, and the banana pudding! And the... Lol Yeah, hard to choose a favorite. 🍽👩🏾🍳
We are all set up and ready to sell! We are trying out our new Highway 80 location at the former Eastwood Fairways Golf Course in Haughton! We will be here until 1:00. We are in the process of converting the old golf course clubhouse into our new Farm Store/Headquarters. We are converting the entire golf course into a regenerative farm! Our first #Eat318 Restaurant Week Adventure took us to#SouthernFaire on Elizabeth Street. Chef Cindy Gleason normally caters or serves for lunch to reserved group events, so this was a great opportunity to try her seafood gumbo (nicely fkavirful with med dark roux) and stuffed shrimp. The sweet potato fries were ridiculously good and crispy, but the Highlight was the blackberry cobbler cheesecake brownie. the peaceful elegant decor of the historic home that houses Southern Faire is worth the visit alone, but the food was a hit. #shreveport#louisiana
