I finished part 12. As soon as I saw that Audrey was back I got so excited! But who in the world is she married to? He seems awful. And who are Tina and Chuck? Who is Billy? Does Audrey not know about or not care that her apparent son Richard is running over children? I’m so confused. I hope we find out more about Audrey’s situation. Why is Diane being all suspicious, most likely texting Evil Cooper? I don’t like that. I think Gordon and Albert’s friendship is so cute. They have bigger roles than they did in the original show and I like that because I love both of their characters. The scene with the French woman was funny. And then Gordon tried to make the joke about how the missing person would “turnip” since the mom had a turnip farm. Albert was judging him so hard the whole time. And there was the part where Albert said “What kind?” And Gordon thought he said “What time?” So he responded 11:05. I just love them. I thought that scene with the French woman was funny because David Lynch writes the show so he specifically wrote himself into that scene. I wonder why Sarah Palmer is acting so suspicious. I think it’s so sweet that Frank is going to give Harry Agent Cooper’s old room key like Ben asked him to. I miss Harry. Dr. Jacoby is so weird. Is Nadine the only person who watches his show? And where’s Big Ed? Is he with Nadine or Norma? I have so many questions. But that’s all I’m watching for tonight. I’ll probably finish it within the next 2 days and that makes me kind of sad. I don’t want to finish it but I so desperately want to watch it. It’s a tough situation.
“Forget being the best of anything. That’s the fruit of the action. And you do the work for the doing, not the fruit.”- David Lynch
When you start wanting to become ‘the best’ - you lose sight of your creative self. You become consumed by ‘the fruit’ and forget why you loved creating in the first place(...) More on Medium! 👇
I loved episode 11. The pie saved Dougie’s life. And then those gangster men loved him. And he almost seemed like the old Agent Cooper when he loved the pie. I can’t believe Bobby and Shelly aren’t together. But they do have a daughter. I wish they were still together. I wish the old Sheriff Truman would come back too. I love the log lady. The scene with with Gordon and Albert where they saw the bearded woodsman was so creepy. And then Hastings was killed. I didn’t like that part. I’m going to watch part 12 now.
"Fix your hearts or die." One of my favorite lines #davidlynch ever wrote. It makes my heart fill up when I hear him say it, Gordon Cole-style. I am in total #lynchworld right now. Again. And it is, indeed, dreamy.
Mulholland Drive Classic Movie Review
Director: David Lynch
Cast: Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, and Justin Theroux
Plot: An aspiring actress goes on a search for clues to uncover the identity of an amnesiac that she found at her home. Together, they venture across sunny L.A. in pursuit of their true selves.
David Lynch, perhaps the most iconic purveyor of Surrealist cinema. From movies like Blue Velvet (which I thoroughly enjoyed) to his groundbreaking venture into TV with Twin Peaks, David Lynch has been making his mark in Hollywood for decades, and Mulholland Drive might be his finest work yet.
It’s a film that might seem straightforward at first, and it will most definitely lull you into a false sense of normalcy. However, just when you think you might get a handle on the film, it pulls the rug right out from under you and goes full on batshit crazy mode. And, by the end of it all, you will be in a catatonic state, trying to gather your thoughts and comprehend what you’ve just seen. That all goes to show how profound David Lynch’s vision and direction for this film was.
David Lynch has a knack to showcase the seedy underbelly of an otherwise bright, colourful exterior. With Blue Velvet, he showed us that the perfect suburbia is not at all what it seems; with Twin Peaks, he showed that beneath the idyllic small town façade lies an unspeakable horror. Now, with Mulholland Drive, he applied that powerful narrative structure to Tinseltown and the pursuit of fame, fortune and stardom, revealing the dark truth behind turning that fifteen minutes of fame into everlasting stardom.
Naomi Watts, in one of her earliest roles, provides a powerhouse performance that will leave you in shock and awe. Meanwhile, she shares a palpable chemistry with her co-star Laura Harring, who also delivers a praise-worthy performance.

Episode 10 Review: I still love Dougie. He’s my favorite. (Besides the real Agent Cooper of course) I was so glad to see the Log Lady again. I love her too. When Albert went on a date it was so cute. Gordon and Tammy were so happy for him too. But when Albert knocked on Gordon’s door and Gordon had that vision of Laura, that kind of creeped me out. Why did Gordon have a vision of Laura? I don’t understand why that girl Candy was being so stubborn. She just ignored those guys when they told her to do something. And I didn’t like it when they framed Dougie for refusing to pay insurance to those men. Now they’re going to be out to get him. Poor Dougie doesn’t deserve that. Also, that creepy guy is Audrey’s son! And he’s horrible! Well I’m going to watch episode 11 now.
I was finally able to finish the third season of Twin Peaks. Despite being one of my favorite shows of all time, my job and my life got in the way of completing it. That last haunting scene left me so full of despair but in the most wonderful way. I'm torn between my intense desire for a fourth season and my love for such an ambiguous ending to the series. It was perfect. I never would've dreamed that so many of the questions I had for the original show would ever be answered. I'm so grateful. Thank you for your mind, David Lynch, and for an incredibly mesmerizing and spiritual journey back into the world of Twin Peaks.
