🎵One blue star, sets on the hill
Call it back, you never will
One more star, sinks in the past
Show me something built to last🎵
I've spent around 20 nights in wilderness areas already this year, but this was the first time I was able to photograph the galactic center of the milky way. Conditions were absolutely perfect. There are no better night skies in the lower 48 than those of the Colorado Plateau. I'm grateful to call it my home.

Finished off a week of climate justice action across the Colorado Plateau by walking with the White Mesa Ute Mountain Ute community and dear friends in protest of the last uranium mill in the nation. I ended the day with a nice healing dip at one of my favorite spots on the Colorado. This region—its people, land, and water—have my full heart.
