Ok... #realtalk here for a sec. Today was not the most enjoyable day of parenting. I called my mama to talk me down off the ledge. (She told me my child is exactly like me. 🤔) But tonight I’m reminding myself that a strong willed little girl grows up to be a #stronggirl period. When cultivated (and not crushed), stubbornness turns to grit and resilience. Raising good humans is hard work y’all. Cheers to all the great parents out there doing their best. 👊

I've been thinking a lot about health and how it plays such a big factor in freeing us up so we have more of ourselves to give to others. It's easy to get overwhelmed and consumed by our own problems that we can't see the needs around us and realize we were meant to live for more than ourselves. But the simple fact is that taking care of you means you can better take care of others. I urge you; make every effort to nurture your emotional and mental health so you have the capacity to take on more, work to build yourself up physically so you can produce and sustain the energy needed to drive change, and actively develop your faith and spirituality so you can weather life and stand firm no matter what comes your way. Focus on breaking cycles and releasing attachments that leave you feeling trapped and dissatisfied. Because within you, there lies an infinite reservoir of potential. And not solely potential for your own success, but potential to positively pour into the lives of people around you, to dramatically affect change, and to ultimately be an integral, indispensable, unreplicable contributor to elevating the human experience. Can you begin to imagine that?
