CALL OUT FOR EAST L.A BANDS/ MUSICIAN!!
Do you know of any local East L.A bands (or musician) that love playing live? Or, are in need of an opportunity to get their new sound out there and into the ears of their soon-to-be-very-loyal Latinx fan base?
Well, tell them to look no further as the Salazar Park Resource Fair happening on June 2 is their opportunity to reach approximately 400 families and children ready (and willing), to have an awesome time and listen to some bumpin' dance tunes!
For the next week (until Friday, May 25), we'll be on the look out for one (or two) groups/musician to perform at our very first resource fair!
If you know of anyone that might be interested, or would like more information, please have them contact Arely at email@example.com!
Shout out to the #ladyboss of Zamora Bros. My Momma is being interviewed for a short film about business owners in Boyle Heights. If you know my Mom you know she is very low key and is always behind the scenes. I'm surprised she agreed to share her story but I am so glad she did. Her story began in Sonora, Mexico where was born. She arrived to Boyle Heights at the age of 6, attended 2nd Street Elementary, Hollenbeck Middle School and Roosevelt High School. My Mom is not a Zamora, she married into the family. She learned the family trade and worked very hard to keep the family business going. I can't wait to see the final production. I am so lucky to have such a strong, hard working woman as my Mom 😘 #ladyboss#hustler#businesswoman#boyleheights#immigrant#herstory#ourstoriesmatter
