It takes a long time to build a canoe by hands. If you’d like to meet this beauty’s maker, @prestonmade, join us May 10 at Able with a whole buncha paddle peeps for Paddles Up Party Down (link in bio), or follow along in our story for more on Preston Anderson.
We love our pets here at Piragis Northwoods Company. And we want to see how all of you spend time with your critters in the outdoors! Share pics of your animals exploring the outdoors using the #piragispets for your chance to win what you see here. We will choose our favorite and the winner will be chosen on Monday 4/23 at noon
This snow is bullshit. I'm sick of it. I want to be able to throw open the windows, wear shorts with flip flops and hit the links. Instead, I'm stuck inside on yet another cold night (in mid-April). Well, I decided that if I'm going to have cabin fever, I might as well make the best of it and have Cabin Fever lagers from @newglarusbrewing with walleye fillets from the legendary Minnesota Boundary Waters that a friend graciously sent me.
So while I may not be currently sitting at the end of a dock with my feet in the water listening to the elegant songs of the loon, you can sure as hell bet I'll be dreaming about it tonight.
Thank you to everyone who ordered the JK003 Dusk Loon Pin! I truly appreciate your support. And to everyone else, there are plenty left! Pin on your person the beautiful Minnesota State Bird! I can’t wait to hear their call this summer. Link in bio.
“There is magic in the feel of a paddle and the movement of a canoe, a magic compounded of distance, adventure, solitude, and peace. The way of a canoe is the way of the wilderness and of a freedom almost forgotten. It is an antidote to insecurity, the open door to waterways of ages past and a way of life with profound and abiding satisfactions. When a man is part of his canoe, he is part of all that canoes have ever known.” -Sigurd Olson
