Now if you’re doing negatives (where you’re using momentum to get the weights up then lowering them as SLOWLY as you can) I’d understand the hip swing. But most times they’re not, just lifting weight way too heavy for the medial Delt (middle Shoulder) to handle. ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instead, lower the weight (maybe even to single digits - don’t worry, no-one’s gonna judge!), squeeze your Glutes and engage your core. Lift the Dumbbells level with/slightly above Shoulder height, pause for a second then slowly lower. Control the weight, don’t let it control you!⠀

Shoulders and glutes were such a killer today but I'm still smiling and standing! 💪👊🤗 I was a sweaty mess before I even started my HIIT after the weight workout! 💦 who doesn't love a good sweat session and knowing it's doing your body good?! Shoulders just happen to be my favorite workout of the week because I love getting a massive pump on and seeing those shoulders grow! Upper body days shouldn't be terrifying to us girls! Guys, I think I might create a program  or extension of BBA that is only 3-4 exercises per day just to prove a point that you absolutely for the love of all things holy do NOT need to do 6-8 or 8-10 Exercises per day or lift or body part or WHATEVER. (It is not only for that point. I think it’s needed, and there is a gap to fill using my philosophy).

Listen Linda, I am not saying that the 6-8 or 8-10 approach doesn’t work, or isn’t valuable. Don’t get it twisted. I simply want to make clear that it is NOT the best way or the only way to build muscle or get stronger or improve body composition. There are far better ways, and I wish to share that with you. 2️⃣Front raises (12 reps) (Plus quick BCAA sip) (I decided to not speed this video up so you guys can see how slow I go/ not using momentum at all)
▪️For those who don’t know what a superset is, its when you perform 2 different exercises back-to-back without resting to get the ultimate burnnn 🔥
▪️If you can’t tell how bad this superset burns by the ridiculous faces I’m making, idk what would 🙈😂

I’ve found that heavy shoulder workouts don’t help me as much as hurt me! Going light, doing isolation holds, and really just controlling the weight slow and steady is the way to go for my body! Trying to kill it like usual
I’ve found that heavy shoulder workouts don’t help me as much as hurt me! Going light, doing isolation holds, and really just controlling the weight slow and steady is the way to go for my body! Trying to kill it like usual

The key to getting better looking shoulders is to hit both myofibrillar and sarcoplasmic training styles. In other words make sure to do some heavy BB and DB shoulder press variations with long rest as well as pump style training doing shoulder fly’s and different variations of them. Building the back has been a goal of mine in 2018. It’s never really been a focus so this year wanted to make it a priority. Hitting it twice every 7 Days and really want volume from different angles.
- 
A Few Notes to get you through it:
1. Rack Pulls are from above the knee. The exercise allows you to hit the back in a deadlift type movement and take out much of the leg involvement. Meaning. You can really put on weight here.
2. Farmers Carry’s are 30 seconds on 30 seconds off. 
3. Use Rev Grip on the rows to help add thickness.
4. The Hammer Curls are With a Rotation.
5. Tricep Run Rack is set the pin on the Tricep Ext and hit ten sets with minimal rest 10-30secs in between. Drop the weight by 5-10 pounds each set.
