Why did I wait so long to sign up & get there! The class was challenging but awesome! I had to take breaks & I even broke down and cried during this very exercise 👇🏼 Today? I did zero modifications, took no extra breaks during the HIIT & I did all 20 freaking reps (2 sets of 10) of these cross over teasers without taking a break!!!! Push thru your f’in boundaries people 😘

Biggest impact in my wellness journey so far I would say is my nutrition. Beginning of 2018 I started to eat what I thought was allot healthier, which technically I was but I had no concept of portion sizes or how much food I actually needed in a day to fuel my body properly. Since starting my 80 day challenge I now know I was over eating most maybe even all of my meals. Having the provided food list has made a huge difference but what I really have benefited from is the portion containers & timed nutrition. Oh, & my nutrient packed smoothies too! It’s honestly crazy how obsessed I am with them, like I go to sleep thinking about what delicious smoothie I’m going make in the morning. Oh, & my all natural energize, two of my favourite things in life, besides my husband & boys. 😂❤️

Day 3/80 (83/160): Sometimes I actually wanna eat my baby he is sooo cute.  This picture really doesn’t have much to do with nutrition, but who doesn’t love a picture of a cute baby. 
I have this friend (we all have at least one) who has an amazing body and eats so perfect it is annoying.  I have always looked up to this person regarding fitness and nutrition, but I never really wanted to eat THAT clean.  It seemed so restrictive and boring. (Love you...you know who you are😘)
And then I met timed nutrition.  And now I totally get it!  It’s not about deprivation or punishing yourself.  It’s about enjoying Whole Foods that fuel your body.  And once you get used to eating clean, small, portioned foods you realize how much better you feel.  Better sleep, increased focus, improved regularity, clearer skin, and more energy to chase after that cute baby of mine. 
That’s my ah ha moment for the day.  Ironically this same friend texted me tonight to tell me that she loves her Shakeology🙌

I learned this life lesson the hard way when I was about 19 years old.  I spent too much time surrounded by people who didn’t support me and were very toxic.  I had to turn my back on them and walk away. I lost a lot of “friends” in doing this but I found myself.  This was when I realized I had a passion of exercise.  At first I started working out to pass the time and clear my thoughts.  I became obsessed with how good I felt so I kept going.  Then life and a desk job happened and all of a sudden I’m working 12-14 hours a day.  I didn’t have “time” to workout.  Then I got married and we now have two kids and I MAKE the time. It is so important to have that pocket of time to do my workouts.  This doesnt make me selfish.  I do it because it makes me feel good.  And for the first time since I was 19, I found a workout that pushes me and I enjoy doing.  #80dayobsession  I share these posts because I feel passionately about this workout. I entered my results today and updated my photos and my jaw just dropped!

This is from aug 2016 to April 2018!

I remember when I found out I was pregnant with Christian and I was at the fittest I ever was. I would be lying if I didn’t worry that my life would go back to over indulging. Not just eating something here and there but really going to town!

I worked out during the pregnancy but then because they said I had complete placenta previa I needed to be cautious.

Hahaha praise God though because He moved that and my doc was still confused how 😂🙌🏼 Anyways this journey right here there was a lot of physical transformation but what you can’t see is the spiritual growth that I encountered while going through my divorce and spiritual strength from the Lord to raise 4 children to His will!

Without going to Him I’d probably still be at that 2016 picture. Then you add an the support from my mentor Lyndsi my success partner John and our WHOLE Believe2Achieve life group they were my support system through this! 
I’m so thankful and blessed to be surrounded with amazing wonderful like-minded individuals!

The stars aligned and another workout is done 🤗. My girl didn't mind getting moved all around and I maintained a pretty good energy level too. Although when we ended with some squats, which she loves, there were serious tears once it was over. If a crying baby doesn't keep you moving 😳 I don't know what will. Some bounces on her favorite yoga ball and she fell asleep 🤷🏽‍♀️. It wasn't a normal nap time. I guess all our squats wore her out. I'll take it.

One thing that #80dayobsession taught me was to be more creative with my meals. I realized that I relied too much on carbs for dinner. This was one of my favorite creations - sautéed grape tomatoes, spinach and Quinoa with roasted tilapia, lemon, and any veggies we had in the fridge. You don't even need the Quinoa - I like it for a change in texture - you could do cauliflower rice if you want to go low carb. It's healthy, delicious, and a great way to use up all of the random leftovers veggies you have in the fridge.

OK this is going to be long and very personal so if you don't want to read just keep scrolling. 
This is me. 3 years ago that was me. I was killing myself. Food and depression were sucking the life out of me. I had replaced an addiction of alcohol with an addiction to food.  I was so miserable in all aspects of my life. My marriage was suffering. My kids were sad because I never participated with them. My hair was thinning due to a major hormonal imbalance due to my weight. I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and prescribed medicine I was going to have to take everyday. I was at the bottom of the barrel mentally. I was having severe depression and panic attacks and was medicated for it.  I wanted to change but I was so scared. 
What was I scared of? Failing mostly. But I wanted to not feel bad anymore. 
That's when I was introduced to Beachbody. I was very skeptical.  What was holding me back? Mostly the cost. I was trying to justify spending $160 for a year of the program and a month of the shake. And then I started calling gyms and asking about their monthly cost. And I started pricing protein shakes and what ingredients were in them. And I came to a really easy conclusion. BeachBody was a no brainer. I was getting so much for such a small amount of money.  So I took the leap. I signed up. I was excited but mostly scared. 
Man if I even knew how much that $160 was going to change my entire life I wouldn't have believed it. I would have laughed! 
Here's the thing, if I would have made excuses for not trying it I would probably still be 215 lbs. I would still be miserable or I may not be here at all. It's harsh but true. 
So here's the bottom line
YOUR HEALTH MATTERS. YOU MATTER. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE MISERABLE ANYMORE. STOP MAKE EXCUSES. STOP BEING AFRAID TO CHANGE. 
When is enough enough? 
Are you tired. Tired of putting on that happy face and pretending you are ok? 
Stop believing the lies that you can't do it. You can.

Guys! These last two weeks I have eaten pizza, sushi, gone out for drinks, snuck in a Reese’s here and there and missed more workouts than I completed. Guys! These last two weeks I have eaten pizza, sushi, gone out for drinks, snuck in a Reese’s here and there and missed more workouts than I completed. After I finished 80 day obsession I kinda took a healthy lifestyle vacation and ya know what it showed. I feel fluffy and my self confidence has plummeted. Time to get back on the wagon 100%. Feeling so thankful for the team of women that cheer me on daily. This weekend after some training, I have had a huge change of heart. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes... in all shades of color... and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 💛

Do you see yourself as beautiful? 
I know for many years I struggled to embrace my curves gifted to me by my Latin roots.  I would wish for hips and a butt that were so different than mine- smaller and thinner is what I wanted for so long. I could not embrace me - the real me - the strong me. 
And my lack of self-confidence hurt me in many ways. 💕 
I was timid growing up and shy.  I didn’t speak up and I didn’t share my opinions. 😥
I stayed in a relationship way too long because I didn’t have the courage to be alone and I didn’t want to address the conflict head on. I couldn’t stand up for myself -> I didn’t have the confidence. 😢 
And it all started with how I viewed myself in the mirror. So I had to change my inner voice - I had to change HOW and WHAT I was saying to myself. 
I AM Beautiful. 
I AM not my weight. 
I AM Strong. 
I AM Confident. 
I AM Bold. 
I AM ... what follows after that statement is SO powerful! So what are you? What do you think of yourself? How do you view yourself? Are you building yourself up or tearing yourself down?
