I also went running after lifting weights this morning. Notice my 2 dogs in the background.  You're probably assuming they went running with me. Your assumptions would be incorrect.  It's icy cold when I leave for my runs and they are not about that life😂😂😂. Today was W5D3 of C25K  and that meant a 20min run without stopping. I struggled to complete this at the Park Run on Saturday because the ground was very mushy and hilly so I was pretty nervous repeating,  but I'm happy to report that I did it! I made it. 20 full minutes of running from someone who struggled running a full minute a month ago. I feel unstoppable,  like I can achieve any goal I set,so long as I consistently work on it. Was it easy, hell nah, but I stuck to it and made it happen. I'm really looking forward to starting week 6. I can't wait to see how much stronger I will become. Did I mention I finished my 5k in 37 minutes 😱. From 52 minutes to 37 minutes.  Ok, enough bragging. The message for this Tuesday is that consistency pays off so stick to your guns and never quit. *

After run feels 🙌

I certainly don't look like all the other girls on social media after a workout - I'm just a tired, sweaty mess (hence the hat 😝). Post exercise endorphins are a real thing. I find exercising makes me feel awesome afterwards. Don't get me wrong, I have my days when I just can't be bothered getting started...but once it's finished I feel so much better and glad I did something!

Today's exercise was a 5km run 👌

Running Journal: What happens when you take a very looooong running break?
My 5Km run timing becomes my 4Km run distance timing!

No matter for how many years one has been running, how swifter one has been progressing, being regularly irregular puts a break to everything. Re-starting the fitness journey amounts to enduring the same breathlessness, same after run exhaustion, and same rigidness. It's back to Square 0!

However, I intend to take up a 10 day no-break mini running challenge. 5Km runs everyday for the next 10 days. Just to see how I can better myself from today's state to a little better stage in 10 days.

This happened yesterday! A new 5km PB! The sub 30 is coming soooooon......eeek! 
I've only done a couple of interval training sessions so far but I can already feel them working their magic. It's amazing what happens if you just push yourself a bit! 
This is also the first time I've focussed on speed rather than distance whilst training. It's a refreshing change. I'm back to the distance stuff soon though.....half marathon training starts again in a few weeks.

This happened yesterday! A new 5km PB! The sub 30 is coming soooooon......eeek! I've only done a couple of interval training sessions so far but I can already feel them working their magic. Maintaining a set pace is tough! My plan was to stay as close to 5min per km as I could. Why? 
I'm tryna build intuition and train my body to gauge it's pace without the use of an app.

The first 4km wasn't too bad but the last km faster because I got impatient🙈

Well this definitely wasn't one of my favourite or better runs 😠 started off badly when my endomondo running app wouldn't start because it needs updating and then I started my fitbit too late. Over 5km ran but only clocked 4.92km 
Also started #10k running app. This heat was too much at times though, I did have to walk a tiny bit to catch my breath 😥

Wczorajszy bieg na 5km, w Zdunskiej Woli, to już historia. Godna odnotowania, bieg na 5km pobieglem drużynowo. Trasa poza końcowym odcinkiem bardzo szybka, średnie moje tempo 3:29, co dało wynik 17:23. Jest to mój życiowy wynik, w tym roku. Cieszę się bardzo z tego wyniku, bo ciężkie treningi jak widać przynoszą efekty.
