// Purple Daze.
Notes: As I was processing this roll last night, I’ve accidentally used stabilizer after pre-soak instead of developer. The stabilizer came out black/super dark green after the 3.5 minute mark, not until I poured it out is when I realized it wasn’t developer. Luckily I didn’t use blix yet, otherwise it wouldn’t have been recoverable. So I went ahead and developed it normally with the proper chemicals, to my surprise, images came out. Scanning them proved some color and hue shift, and I found that the more over exposed the image is, the more accurate the colors are, but what still remained is the purple cast in shadows. I’m sure I can correct the colors if I spent some time on it, but I actually like how they came out, so I stuck with it.

// A few weeks ago I got a chance to assist @joymasi with her shoot with the power couple, Drake Masters and @cherrelle_champagne, around Manayunk. It was towards the end of the shoot when we found this pink wall and it was perfect for portraits.
Notes: I shot two 120 rolls of Portra 400 and a roll of Tri-X, home developed and scanned. For the longest time I’ve been trying to figure out how to scan these with accurate colors and I’m finally satisfied.
