Thank you to @barbarama2 for another great photo taken at Greenpoint's McGolrick Park. This was an overcast fall day, but we did find some patches of sun here and there that we rushed over to, like in that 'Winter in Portlandia' episode!! Here, I think the grayness and mystery of this cloud-filled autumn moment is working well for the shot.
My dude @spenceralbee just sent me this photo of my old production reel that’s equal parts cringe and joy. Cringe at my Y2K proto-Brooklyn-twee-hipster tendencies (all lower case? “collected short stories,” dude?), joy at the notion of 25 year old me slinging 207 music I made on a shoestring budget to get gigs on big boy records, and the fact that I still get to work with a lot of these people to this day. Ps: that’s definitely no longer my phone number or email.
