Here’s to my favorite ice cream sandwich place ever. It’s a cute little truck on forest road and can be pretty easy to miss especially at night. They sell just ice cream or just the cookie and I love that they also sell milk. The staff is super friendly and their cookies are always super soft🤤😍 #urnovafoodie

Comments: So here’s Trio! Let me preface this saying that the service was not very good, but I did enjoy the fries. Now onto your regularly scheduled review. The wings were good. Even though I feel like they should’ve been fried a little more because they should’ve been a little more crispy. Now the server honestly seemed depressed. He mumbled words and caused my friend and I to question what he was saying. He did not strike me as a professional and honestly seemed like he had a bad day. Though I do not want bad service to determine a restaurant. I do not want to see this type of service again. The French fries however were much better than our waiter. They taste a lot like the five guys fries (review to come soon). They were a beautiful color and honestly the color was different from a gold you may be expecting but gosh darn these fries looked good. The seasoning was great and the sauce going with them was fantastic. It tasted like a ranch with a fun spin. I recommend these fries to anyone wanting something looking a little different and a quick bite to eat for lunch. Peace out fryternity 🍟 •

HAPPY TUESDAY! 🤩🤗 I know that macro tracking can be frowned upon in the world of holistic nutrition, but I think that there’s a misunderstanding between macro tracking vs. calorie counting. I think that macro tracking is WAY better than calorie counting, because having a balance of macros is key to having a good body composition. If I were to eat 2000 calories in a day, but most of my calories were from fat, then I would be missing out on the benefits of protein and carbs. I’ve been tracking my macros again for a month now, and I’ve actually been loving every minute of it. I work out, so I need to be getting the right amount of carbs, fat and protein to aid in my recovery. I’m eating around 1900 calories a day (35% carbs, 35% protein and 30% fat) and which is a little lower than my personal maintenance level (what I usually eat - 2200) but it’s not a large deficit at all, and I don’t feel hungry or deprived. So many people think that they best way to get in shape is to drop down to 1000 calories, but doing that will RUIN your metabolism and create major hormonal issues. Your body NEEDS food, and its so important to nourish your body with enough macronutrients (vitamins/minerals) and macronutrients (carbs/fat/protein). Today, I decided to eat a higher fat breakfast today and save the majority of my carbs for later 😍, so I sautéed a little bit of chopped onion, red pepper, spiraled zucchini and sweet potato in coconut oil then cracked 2 pasture raised eggs in the middle, and added half of an avocado on top. Tracking isn’t for everyone, but I’m starting to really love it. It’s not about restriction - it’s about “spending” your calories the right way. I think that it’s possible to eat in a holistically nourishing way while still acknowledging the traditional science of dietetics. Having a balanced mindset is key, and I just wanted to share because this is what has been working for me! ❤️ #kalemekourt #macros #foodismedicine

Today we are helping our teacher Mrs. Morgan send out senior letters by folding the letter ever so perfectly. Then after that we prepared the envelopes by writing her name on the top left corner and putting the mailing address sticker on them. Soon after that they were all sealed and ready to send out.  We have seen change also amongst our peers and the way they act towards each other.
