Need a little leg workout?! Try these moves! Aim for 3-4 sets of:

8-12 weighted (or not!) Bulgarian Split Squats
8-12 Barbell Front Squats
My oh my, how times have changed!
I used to hate my legs. I used to think they were too big and that I shouldn’t have such big legs. I used to cry in dressing rooms when I was 12 years old because I no longer fit into the girls jeans my mom normally purchased for me. Now I pretty much laugh at jeans...like ‘ha! You silly things! You can’t handle all of this!’
It’s taken me years (about 30 to be somewhat exact) to appreciate my legs and my body and myself. I have no intentions of ever back pedaling and going back to a daily life where I undervalued myself based on what I saw in the mirror.
When I train I feel my best. I feel stronger than ever and LOVE what I’ve got. I train my legs specifically at least twice a week but use them heavily everyday, especially on hikes with PenPen where we plow up and down a mountain. If you ever see us out you may hear me encouraging Penny and my legs with kind words like ‘you’re fucking amazing, let’s pick it up!’ Seriously... •
I know I said that this week’s blog post would be a recap of Italy, but, I was inspired by a question that was recently sent my way.
I received a private message that basically, asked me how it was that I came to live a life of my dreams. I felt my response was too juicy not to share. So, this week on my blog instead, I’m sharing my advice on living the life of YOUR dreams! ✨

“You don’t set out to build a wall. You don’t say ‘I’m going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that’s ever been built.’ You don’t start there. You say, ‘I’m going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid.’ You do that every single day. And soon you have a wall.”- Will Smith
