Winter Solstice marks the day of the year with the least amount of sunlight. Here in the North Country, winter officially started at 11:28am! Can you capture the sunset before the night takes over?
Have you seen the decorated Visitor Center yet? It’s worth taking a peek! The ADKX Store will be open tomorrow through Saturday, Dec. 20 – 23, 10am to 4pm for the last time in 2017.
Building our collection! Adirondack Experience recently acquired a guideboat built by Albert Henry Billings (1853-1903) in Lake Placid. It was most likely used at Camp Marion, near Tupper Lake, from about 1920 up until the museum acquired it earlier this year.
The holidays are here and the Visitor Center is looking festive! Stop by the ADKX Store for authentic Adirondack gifts. See theADKX.org for store hours of operation.
