HELP WANTED!!! We are saying good luck and goodbye to the original #sugarcreekmaltboy next week.
Jerry (Moe) Cunningham has been with Sugar Creek Malt Co. since almost the beginning. He started a little over 2 years ago when he was just a sophomore in high school and when Sugar Creek was just getting off the ground. He has spent many long nights with Caleb over the last couple of years, finishing up the work for the day and has missed only a handful of weekends. He is the hardest working young man we have ever had the privilege to work with. We're sad to hear he's leaving us but extremely excited to see what is next for him!
Now he is going on to chase his lifelong dream of being a pipe welder! He will be missed greatly here at Sugar Creek Malt and we wish him the best in his future in welding! If you have ever had a beer or a whiskey made with Sugar Creek malt, have a drink tonight for Moe because there is a good chance he helped out in making it!

Cheers to you Moe! We're going to miss you!

Ever dreamed of one day being a part of the #sugarcreekmaltboyz, one the most elite and sought after memberships in the world? We are looking for a real weekend warrior. With Moe leaving, we now have a part-time position open. We are looking for someone who can come in on the weekends (every weekend... malt waits for no man) and help us make craft malt for the craft brewing and craft distilling industries. We also are in need of part-time help during the weekdays in June and July. Note to self, this job requires a strong back and endurance. Think Paul Bunyan, mixed with those 80's aerobics videos! Don't worry! After a long hard day there is usually a beer or two included and free malt to use on our home brew system!
If interested, email Caleb Michalke at caleb@sugarcreekmalt.com
